为积极推进北京市与首尔市政府2005交通合作MOU，加强交通国际交流，借鉴国际先进交通经验，实际推动北京市与首尔市政府间的交流与合作。北京市交通委员会拟组织相关部门人员及新闻记者赴首尔市，就交通体系革新和公共交通与城市发展等课题进行调研、采访日语翻译。

 

To vigorously boost the 2005 Cooperation MOU between Beijing Municipal Government and Seoul Municipal Government in Communications, strength the international exchange in communications, use the international advanced experience in communications for reference and actually promote the exchange and cooperation between Beijing Municipal Government and Seoul Municipal Government, Beijing Transportation Committee plans to organize the personnel of the departments concerned as well as reporters to Seoul to make researches and interviews on the subjects such as the reform in the transport system as well as public transport and city development.

 

首尔市是一个国际化大都市，其良好的交通组织为汉城成功举办1988年奥运会及2002年世界杯发挥了重要作用，其所推行的交通体系革新也有效地解决了大城市交通问题。首尔市的交通体系革新及交通组织经验，对同样面临大城市交通拥堵及2008-奥运会交通组织任务的北京，具有极大的借鉴意义。此次调研、采访的目的就是学习和借鉴首尔市交通体系革新，城市公共交通规划、交通组织等方面所取得的经验和成果同声传译报价。

 

Seoul is an international metropolis with good organization of traffic which played an important role in Seoul successfully holding 1988 Olympic Games and 2002 World Cup. Besides, the reform in the transport system it carries out has efficiently settled the traffic problem in big cities. Seoul’s reform in the transport system and experience in the organization of traffic are of great significance in drawing on to Beijing which similarly faces the traffic jams featured by big cities and is committed to the organization of traffic for 2008 Olympic Games. This research and interview is aimed at learning and using for reference Seoul’s experience and outcomes in the reform in the transport system, urban public transport planning and the organization of traffic.
