Location and traffic: The Badaling Great Wall Scenic Spot is about 60km away from Desheng Gate in downtown Beijing, 66km from Beijing Capital International Airport and 10km from downtown Yanqing. Traffic conditions are also favorable, and recommended routes are: self-driving tourists can reach the spot directly following Beijing-Tibet Expressway and No.110 national highway; other tourists may take No.919 bus at Desheng Gate, its origin stop, directly headed to spot or take subway line S2 at Beijing North Station (the western gate) also headed directly to the spot. Along with the construction of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway and the speed-up price-down program of subway line S2, traffic conditions of the scenic spot will be further improved.
